The Nevada Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NvRAEF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to serving the educational, research, and philanthropic needs of the hospitality industry. NvRAEF has been providing scholarships and educational programs since 1996. The foundation is dedicated to be the premier resource in Nevada for hospitality industry information and dissemination and to ensure future stability and growth through development of workforce education and enhancement programs.

EDUCATION

ProStart Program
The ProStart program is dedicated to cultivating a new source of talent for the hospitality industry by implementing a statewide hospitality educational system in partnership with educational institutions, governmental agencies, and industry to meet the workforce needs of the NvRA members, and to promote hospitality as a career of choice. Currently there are 40 schools statewide that carry the program with over 2200 students enrolled.

Scholarship Program
The scholarship program is dedicated to providing financial assistance to secondary and post-secondary students who wish to pursue an education in the hospitality industry.

RESEARCH

The Research program is dedicated to research studies, data collection, compilation and reporting of topics related to the hospitality industry.

PHILANTHROPY

The Philanthropic program is dedicated to financial support for charitable emergency needs of the hospitality industry.
