FOUNDATION SPONSORSHIP
Nevada Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NvRAEF) sponsors can make a difference in many ways:
- Providing internship worksites and professional mentoring vitally important to students
- Contributing financial support for the foundation's activities
- Participating in training high school hospitality teachers by allowing them to have hands-on experience in your restaurant/hotel
- Sponsoring a school to participate in competitions
- Sharing your expertise by speaking in the classroom and in training workshops
- Providing a tour of your facility
- Serve as a judge for state and national competitions
- Sponsor recognition and celebratory events for successful students, teachers and mentors (scholarship dinners/luncheons, award ceremonies)
- Provide a scholarship in your company's name
Scholarship Donations
- NRAEF / NvRAEF Co-Branded Scholarship:
This NvRAEF scholarship, co-sponsored by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), is given to ProStart students who, after successfully completing the ProStart program, wish to continue their culinary education in college. Donations received for this scholarship are matched, dollar for dollar, by the NRAEF. Donations can be made online and are tax deductible.
- ProStart Competition Scholarship:
This NvRAEF scholarship is given to ProStart State Competition winners each year to supplement the students expenses for travel as they advance to the National ProStart Competition. Donations are tax deductible and can be mailed to NvRAEF, 1500 E. Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
