MUSIC LICENSING
Members can enjoy 10-20% discounts from BMI music licensing, which can provide lawful access to an enormous catalog of music (over 6.5 million songs) from more than 300,000 copyright owners. BMI also licenses songs from songwriters in over 60 countries around the world. The average restaurant or bar pays only about $1.50 per day through this unique program!

NvRA publishes a bi-weekly e-newsletter entitled What’s on the Table? and an annual Member Directory/Buyer’s Guide that provides advertising opportunities as discounted rates to members.The NvRA also provides opportunities to promote your business through local event sponsorships including: The Las Vegas International Bar & Restaurant Show, PAC luncheons, Epicurean Affair and the Culinary Excellence Awards Gala. INDUSTRY ADVOCACY
The NvRA spends tens of thousands of dollars each year lobbying for pro-restaurant legislation to save members money! We continuously reach out to elected officials and actively engage in issues that matter most to the restaurant industry. Recent victories include lowering permit fee and modified business tax increases, preventing proposed taxes on plastic bags, soda pop products, and transportation of goods, as well as, increasing business meal tax deductions – the list goes on and on.
The NvRA has partnered with Environmental Risk Technologies to offer discounted consulting services on plan reviews for food and beverage service providers, child care facilities, pools, solid waste removal and management, and food vendor operations. They also offer assistance in meeting regulations for health inspections.
The law firm, Snell & Wilmer LLP, provides free and confidential legal consultations to NvRA members. Members can access information regarding licenses, taxes, gift cards, tipping, benefit issues, workers compensation, lawsuits, permits, minimum wage, immigration, inspections, employee issues, regulations, etc.
NvRA’s Restaurant Compliance Store specializes in compliance products for the restaurant and food service industry. Members can order products such as labor law posters, first aid kits, safety materials, and ADA signage at up to 30% off retail prices.
