What We Do

We Protect Restaurants

Nevada Restaurants need a powerful voice before in Carson City, in Congress and federal regulatory agencies because Uncle Sam's long arm reaches into every facet of the restaurant business. Proudly, our affiliate, the National Restaurant Association - ranked among the "Power 25" lobbying organization by Fortune magazine - promotes a pro-restaurant agenda on critical restaurant issues like the minimum wage, food safety, immigration reform and IRS tip audits. Through the National Restaurant Association Political Action Committee (NRA-PAC) issue luncheons and Save American Free Enterprise Fund, we work with our national affiliate to help elect pro-restaurant candidates and battle anti-restaurant initiatives.

We Promote the Restaurant Industry and our Members

The Nevada Restaurant Association works to promote dining out, encourage restaurant careers, publicize the industry's commitment to food safety, highlight the restaurant industry's impact on the economy and Nevada's local communities.
Through our public relations initiative, outreach to the media, Vendor Value Campaign, Dining Guide and more, we get the word out.

We Offer Access to Information

Members of the Nevada Restaurant Association have access to the national Information Service & Library, reports and publications, and research. This is information that helps restaurateurs manage their businesses better.
